Thank you for your interest in the Cape Fear Valley Kids with Diabetes summer camp!
Here is a brief history and overview of this group and camp:
Cape Fear Valley Kids with Diabetes is a non-profit group that was founded in 2008. Our goal is to help children achieve optimal health through diabetes education, resources, and support. We serve children with diabetes and their families, caregivers, and support systems.
We sponsor the only diabetes camp in Cumberland and surrounding counties. At camp, children participate in traditional camp activities, connect with other children who have diabetes, and learn skills to help them manage diabetes successfully.
We are extremely excited to have you join us for the 2023 Diabetes Camp this year! We hope your experience will leave you with new friends, many smiles and great memories!
For more information, please call Dr. Brunilda Cordero, Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at 910-615-1885.
